*Some exceptions apply. Orders place before 1 pm EDT may not ship that day for reasons including but not limited to: credit card processing errors, shipping and billing address verification, inventory availability, and drop ship orders direct from the manufacturer.

Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii

Orders being shipped to Alaska or Hawaii must choose 2-Day shipping as a minimum, as all orders must be shipped via FedEx Express. Even if you don't select 2-Day shipping, you will automatically be charged the 2-Day shipping rates when your order is processed. Note that FedEx 2-Day Delivery to certain areas of Alaska and Hawaii can take 3 business days, depending on destination ZIP code. We do NOT ship to Puerto Rico at this time.


Express Shipping

If you would like your order shipped via 2-Day or Next Day, please make that selection at checkout. Express shipping charges are calculated by weight and location and will be calculated when you checkout. As stated above, we do our best to process every order received before 1:00 Eastern Time on weekdays but we offer no guarantee that your order will go out the same day. Your items will ship the day they are processed and not necessarily the day the order is placed. (Saturday, Sunday and national holidays are not considered business days for delivery purposes.) International Shipping

We currently do NOT ship to addresses outside of the United States.

United States Postal Service and APO Shipping

After having served APO and FPO addresses for the past 8 years, we regret to say that we will no longer be using the United States Postal Service (USPS) to deliver shipments. As a result, we cannot ship to military addresses because our preferred shipper, Federal Express (FedEx), is not authorized to service them.

We have ceased using the USPS for two reasons. Skyrocketing shipping rates require that we request additional funds from customers. Additionally, customer reports of undelivered merchandise to military addresses have increased sharply. Because the USPS continues to deny all claims of lost or undelivered products shipped to APO or FPO address, we cannot afford the continued and increasing loss.

We apologize for this change because providing service to our hard-working military personnel is important. Despite this change, hope remains. If you have family or friends within the continental US, you can ship your order to them and have them forward it to you. We realize this is not an ideal option, but we hope that this gives you access to our products.

Federal Express Claims

HighChairs.com promises to find solutions to any damage that arises as a result of shipping, including part replacement and any shipping charges resulting from returns and exchanges of damaged items.

HighChairs.com will assist customers with filing a Federal Express claim in the event of loss, theft, or denial signature. However, HighChairs.com is not responsible for any lost or stolen merchandise. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact Federal Express about any loss or delivery disputes as per our Risk of Loss statement. The purchaser is encouraged to dispute any credit card charges with their Credit Card Company for undelivered merchandise. Doing so allows time to work with Federal Express, your local authorities, and insurance company regarding any matters of theft.

Notice to Debit / Check Card Users

Please be advised that banks do NOT treat debit or checking cards like a credit card; they can put two "holds" on your funds. First, your funds are held for verification purposes each time you place an order. They are held a second time when we process your sale. Please understand that there is nothing that we can do on our end to resolve this. These holds are internal banking functions of the bank that handles your card account. Additionally, be aware that a pre-authorization is NOT a charge; it only checks your account for available funds, holds those funds, and checks the address information you provided against the card company's records. The "hold" on your funds will eventually drop off the account after a short timeframe (sometimes up to 10 days) that is determined by your bank's policies. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this banking procedure may cause you.

Credit Card Processing

This Site is a department of TipToeTurtle.com, and all credit card processing will be performed by TipToeTurtle.com. The charge on your statement will appear fromTipToeTurtle.com. We verify all billing addresses with Credit cards, and if the address you enter does not match the Credit card record, we will contact you. To pay by check, please print out the order form.

All Michigan residents will be charged 6% sales tax. All Minnesota residents will be charged 6.5% sales tax.
