This is a good highchair

I like this highchair. The older Chicco's seem to be made better but this chair gets the job done. My 7 month old is still a little small for it so I can never leave him unattended unless I have the tray attached. This is a good highchair for the money.

Dissapointed over time

For the first month I would have given this chair 5 stars with its ease of adjustability, great appearance - all the things I read in the reviews... (2nd child is now 9 months old and realize only really used the high adjustment.) Second month started to notice how difficult it is to keep the main tray seam clean (you actually have to use a toothbrush, and I'm too busy to do that) and it doesn't sit close enough to the tray to avoid a big gap. After 5 months of use the pad started cracking. Over all a disappointment.

Comments from The Staff:

Jody, thank you for your comments. It can be tough cleaning the plastic tray seams. I use the scrubber side of a sponge and have great success. We appreciate your comments and they give us great information to take back to our manufacturers when we meet with them. I am glad you enjoyed the chair for some time.
Best regards

Fantastic

This chair is great looking, easy to put together, folds incredibly flat, and is easy to clean. The only caveat for me is that the dishwasher-safe tray does not fit into my dishwasher, and I would be surprised if it fit into most dishwashers. However, all the parts and pieces of this chair, except for the 5-point harness- are easily cleanable. I would definitely recommend this highchair.

The chair is excellent. Easy to clean, easy to store, and very stable. It's really good for infants because of the tilting chair and easy to adjust to lifestyle since it's fully height adjustable as well. We fully recommend this chair.

Great High Chair

Reviewer: Anonymous , St. Louis, Missouri Date: February 06, 2008
I like this high chair, and my daughter loves it too! I wish we had it a few months earlier (we got it when she was 6 months old). It is nice that it folds up fairly thin; just be careful that it doesn't tip over while it is folded up. Also, I wish the cover could go in the washing machine, but it spot cleans very well. The colors are nice and neutral. The tray is easy to clean, and it's nice that it is dishwasher safe (but it doesn't fit in my dishwasher). Overall, I would definitely recommend this high chair.

Great Chair

Reviewer: Anonymous , Hammond, WI Date: February 06, 2008
Our daughter was always standing up in her old high chair. She would find a way to get out of her straps. We decided to get another high chair when she stood up and fell out!!! We were in search for a chair that had a harness. A sales lady recommended this one. I quickly came home and read reviews. I was upset to find negative comments. I didn't know what to do....so I took the advice of the sales lady and bought it!! I am so glad!!! We love it!! She does not stand anymore in her chair. Consumer reviews were saying how the tray is so hard to clean. I disagree. It does not fit in the dishwahser, but I was used to cleaning the other one by hand. Not a big deal!! I am upset that the reviews almost made me not buy the high chair. Of course, everyone has their likes and dislikes, but this high chair was a win for us. I hope other people reading this review find this helpful and get what works best for your child!!

Tough Tray

Love the other Chicco products, but the highchair is tough to use. The tray is nearly impossible to put on. Buying the Graco Contempo as a replacement!

This chair is sooo practical!! I wish i had bought it sooner. We just bought this for our 6 month old daughter and she looks very comfy in it. She loves to recline and watch me cook her food. She is on the small side and still fits well in the chair. I wanted the Peg Perego chair but when I saw this one I immediately changed my mind. The price is excellent (plus I got it on sale!!) and the design is soooo nice (splash) without being too girly or baby-like. Great chair!!!

We got this high chair when my son was 6 months old and he is now 21 months old. It has been a good sturdy high chair however I recently had a problem with it. We still use the cushy double pad on the chair because it seems just that, cushier. Anyway the seam on the seat of the high chair pad split and has split so that there is a very jagged edge exposed. When I phoned the company about a replacement they informed me that it was on backorder and that I would have to pay $25 plus tax plus shipping for the new pad. The recommended age for the high chair is 6 - 36 months so you would think the chair would at least last the duration that one child needed it. Apparently the warranty is for only 1 year and I am about 2 or 3 months past that. This is unfortunate as I think I will be forced to pay for it as there is quite a sharp edge exposed and I want the chair to last at least through another baby! The folds in vinyl of the chair pad also hide a lot of food and gunk. Also if you do use the safety harness straps, they are very hard to clean!
